2009 a hodge podge vibe?

Post by 5speednightstand »

I get the feeling it is. Things like the fuse/relay center not reflecting reality. There is a second small relay box on the passenger side of the engine. In that, and the main relay box are relays labeled the same (heater sub 1). I read elsewhere on the web that the 2009 wiring diagrams in the FSM do not reflect reality? Almost like they did not care at the end, dunno.Anyway to that end, bought a matrix wiring manual in the hopes it reflects reality better. There is no relay labeled air conditioner, or mlg or whatever. Frustrating. I know the wiring must have changed since the earlier vibes, I get 2.5 volts on the compressor clutch wire. The old setup had the clutch hooked up to a relay, it could be either on or off (0 or 13.8 volts, nothing in between)

The "end" wasn't until the 2010 models.

here is gm'x wire diagram for a/c system. there looks like there is no relay for the compressor only power from the module. so if no power is at compressor then one of the input for the module is not allowing the module to power the compressor.
