The new suspension is great! I also got lucky and parked next to a stock vibe, the lowering springs took me down the PERFECT amount! Very much recommend the Eibach's to anyone looking for a 2"ish drop.I'm sitting here attempting to convince myself to buy the K&N Typhoon, though I think I may wait til next paycheck.I plan on taking the car over for an Oil Change tonight as well as begin looking for a place to tint my windshields (and possibly my tails) - it's hard to find a good, cheap, place around here (most places overcharge to near $200!)Also! Since this OP is beginning to get big, my next update will be on a new post (which will be listed here) and that post will be updated until it too gets too long... If that makes sense.03/03/2012Installed my Eibach's and got my new wheels! New pictures below ^_^. 02/26/2012We made it home from Afghanistan safely! I installed my JVC Headunit and my audio already sounds A WHOLE lot better! Next I'll be installing some 12s..This saturday I'll be dropping the car and installing the Eibach springs, super excited!I also removed the hubcaps, I like the plain steelies look...New pictures will be coming on Satuday after the drop! the car will also be getting an oil change, alignment, and re balance that day too!07/10/2011Well, I found a good deal on a JVC KD-HDR60, so I went ahead and bought that... Also, think I'm gonna drop the subs... I'm not looking to lose much cargo space, and I don't wanna worry about punching one if I load a surfboard or drumset in the back, or my dog scratching it up during our roadtrips to FL or NJ...I am thinking about maybe grabbing an Intake I found for the 09 Corolla... Haven't decided yet, but it's possible!I'd still love for someone to chime in on my springs... Ever hear of anyone using them? Do you think everything will be okay? It won't be too 'springy' will it?07/07/2011So you may be asking, why haven't you gotten anything done yet? Answer: I'm currently in Afghanistan... So yes, this garage may end up sitting for awhile until I get back in January and can start working all these mods (will have them done within a month of returning). The way I plan on using this page is a blog, I'll post updates in a date format and then pictures the same way... This way everyone can track my progress... I won't really start updating it til I begin working it, so until then the topic will continue like a normal one, discussion on what you think of my Spring Choice and maybe help decide on some more mods I could plan as well as which Headunit and Woofer to install. I'm by no means a motorhead, Infact... I'm quite terrible with cars, so this is gonna be a great learning experience! My reasoning behind the Eibach springs is from over at the matrixowners forums I read somewhere that someone used them to drop a 1.8L Matrix and they were highly recommended for a 1.5" Front, 2.0" Back, drop... Hopefully I didn't go wrong Pictures:New Springs and Wheels:Day One:Yeah... I'm clearly not a photographer...

Big plans indeed...You should see the rims on tirerack, they look really good - way better than every other silver car I've seen with em . I originally wanted to go with the Bronze ones, but the black w/ red lip just looks too nice.

Welcome!Absolutely love your rim choice. I'm all about the black/red/(and white, too) theme. An added bonus to your rims: the silver on the inside, surrounding the lugs and center cap, matches your paint. Can't wait to see these on your ride:Heck, with my sig, I'm envisioning them on my car already!
Thanks JKM... Yeah I'm really excited about them! I think the only thing I'm worried about is if my springs are gonna work, I tend to over think things... I'm sure they're fine like it was stated.I must say though, your avatar is quite bothersome... It's all about the Devils, my friend
