http://www.microsoft.com/security/incid ... aspHaven't installed it on XP machines yet, but the W2K patch is applied easily. Just click on stuff. Also, make sure your virus defs are up to date. Folks, I'd hate to see you become a victim, so if you're on any of the affected systems, PATCH IT NOW!I didn't mean to start any OS war here, I was just stating it's comforting to run something different than the masses, something that script kiddies don't bother to write exploits for. I think the Mac gurus can back me up on that one. As for the corporate entities, I don't feel sorry for them either. First there was slammer, then there was the blaster... Sysadmins should be more vigilant about patching ANY os, server-side and on the desktop, whether it be Windows, Linux, Unix, etc... Anything can be vulnerable, and it is becoming increasingly so these days. Most of the horrid events they gripe about could have easily been prevented. You CAN'T place blame on your employees that go out to Yahoo or whatever on their lunch break... Have a great weekend folks, and happy patching! Hope the net stays up!
