Installing a/market amp on MT

I have got my a/f stereo in and have got the remote wire hook up to the correct one in the harness radio is finally working but recievin' alil white noise still which will be corrected. Now I am tryn to hook up my MTX amp however I am recievin no power. I have the + and - wires hooked up perfectly I put the remote wire with the other ones in the harness any clue on why do I need to install it with the scosche input and if so where do I put this wire from the amp so it will work?
