I wouldn't call that too good of a deal when there's this:http://sacramento.craigslist.o....html30,000 miles less, $200 more.By the way, what happens in Sacramento that makes 09-10 Vibes there so cheap? That 2010 with AWD and 63k for $7900 (on Craigslist) is a great deal! This GT is a good deal toohttp://sacramento.craigslist.o....html

I would say they are cheap because if you notice in both those, they say they have salvage titles, and if that's true, they should cost a lot less.

3 Years ago I sold my 2003 Vibe (6 years old then) 1.8L AT PPkg 33,000 miles for $9,500. That was a fair price for buyer and seller at that time. So this one is 7 years old and has 3x the miles. So my guess as to what 1 year older and 69,000 more miles is worth as a deduct would be -3,500 for a price of $6,000. But the used car market is a lot stronger now than in 1/2009 so add 10-15% making that about $6,750. Check KBB and Edmonds; do a search of CarMax inventory - deduct at least $2,500 from what CarMax is asking. I'd bet if that seller took that 2005 Vibe to CarMax they'd offer him about $5,000 for it.

Salvages aren't all bad. My Vibe is a salvage. I'd recommend you go check it out, ask about the damage, look at the auto history, and get a friend with an auto shop to take a look at it. Salvages can either be deathtraps, or deals. Mine was a deal.
