Here are some pics of the aftermath: Where's my car? There it is! The driveway. It's nice and mellow outside today though, practically no wind and -2 degrees Celsius. Snow was nice and fluffy, it'll make some snowboarders and skiers happy for sure. How's the weather where you guys are at?
We've had a really mild winter here in Chicagoland so far *knocks on wood*. We have only gotten 12-13 inches of snow total so far which is less than half of what we had by this time last winter. The temperatures have been pretty decent as well. It's supposed to be in the 40s all this week which makes me happy because I'll be able to handwash the Vibes in the driveway !

I'm glad you're both having pleasant weather, and I wish I could handwash my vibe It's consistently below freezing here, all the more reason to look forward to March when things finally start to thaw again.
Ahh just a dusting! Got home this morning and had about 30" to clear (1 snow fall) here in Fulton, NY. Would have taken pictures but after 4 hours of snow blowing I did not want to see it any more. http://www.cnycentral.com/news...13414 Good thing I bought new Firestone Winterforce tires last month.
Yeah, the downside of having that weather is that you have to be in Florida, been there, done that, never again. That State has gone though some major changes for the worse since the 70's! Houses houses houses houses stores stores stores stores....it seems that all of the open space on the Eastern Coast is gone, the endless free beach has been consumed with crappy housing developments. It used to be you could go down A1A stopping just about anywhere along the way, climb over a dune and have a mile or two of beach to yourself! Maybe I'm living in the past......heavy sigh.... but I've no affection for that State, no way, no how. I know, I'm from Jersey, go ahead, take your shots, I'm anticipating them! Really what has destroyed Florida and other hot humid (also hot and dry) States is Air Conditioning. Before the 70's, it was just too miserable to live in these areas, now "we" run from air conditioned unit to air conditioned unit avoiding the heat and humidity as much as possible.Dave
In Detroit, we have been SPARED. In fact, yesterday's 3 inches of snow nearly matches our total for the whole winter. I won't complain too much, though. We saw a pretty bad one last year. For Detroit.
Almost all of ours is gone again. An upper 40s day here in Minnesota. Geez, will any of it stay for more than a week? (Brian's got to be throwing a fit)
Definitely jealous, we got some pretty good snow last week but then it all melted away within 2 days. I drove up to northern Indiana with the Vibe that same day and when i got up there, I found out that there was 6+ inches of snow and i was running BFGoodrich G-force summer tires. Needless to say that in 121 miles of driving from driving from my house to my lake house, i didn't stop once. Get out and have fun in that!
