Are you wanting to make your 2009-2010 AWD or Base look like a 2009-2010 GT?

Yup, I just had my WRX totaled and I'm trying something different. I love the AWD and I love how the GTs look. I figure its easier to make and AWD to look like a GT rater than making a GT an AWD. I live in MN btw.

Once you succeed, you'll probably have the ONLY Vibe AWD GT out there Unfortunately, even with used parts, you'll probably be spending $2k to get this done at best. Looking forward to you making this EASY transition.

I am prepared to spend 2k like I had expected. The problem is to find silver mint bumpers and side-skirts that someone is willing to sell. Most likely find the wheels first. This might take me a while. It is a lot better than finding Transmission, drive axles, CV axles, Rear suspension parts, sensors, and possibly brake parts right? Nice set of Pontiacs you got there. is that G8 an 8Cyl?

While I was looking at misc parts and stuff on ebay, I saw several wrecked GTs in Wisconsin where they were selling parts off them. They would have one part listed like an AC compressor or something, but show a picture of the wrecked Vibe GT it came from. Might be worth a call and maybe you could get most of the parts from a place fairly close by. Also, look on http://www.car-part.com for GT wheels or rear bumpers which are specific to the GT models. This place seems to have a lot of GTs, they have like 3 rear bumpers listed. Looking forward to seeing your progress with this project! You may want to check out GMPartsCenter.net as well. It may actually be cheaper to get some parts brand new i.e. I ordered brand new OEM wheel covers for my winter wheels from GMPC for $34.xx a piece, whereas on eBay, they were going for $35.00+ for used ones. Definitely a better deal to get brand new ones for cheaper. Good luck with your search !

No, they are the same since the AWD has the 2.4L motors. All the 2.4 cars have the same 5x114 bolt patterns. Only the basic 1.8L cars have the old 5x100 bolt pattern that is the same as the 03-08 Vibes.
