Post by wecafinas »

Hello again my friends.Greetings from Honduras, Central America.I apologize in advance, my English is not very good, because not mastered the language.I've decided to share about my dear Vibe with you.Because I am a little ignorant of the technical details of my car, I will not give as much detail as other users. Besides, I do not know how to express in English.Begin by saying a few things:Model: VibeYear: 2006Color: Red wineCurrent ODO: about 66k milesSource: Birmingham AlabamaCurrent Location: San Pedro Sula, HondurasThis car I bought through auction, thanks to an uncle who went to USA.Here I show you some pictures of the car as purchased. As you can see, the front car was hit. Thus began the process of repair, with straightening and painting. Now I will show how was the car to remove the damaged parts.Well. In this case, I have to repair damaged parts are:Fenders, bumper, headlight, and other parts of the front wheel, I do not know how to say in English. Now I have 2 problems I need you to help me solve.1.) Exploded 2 air bags, and I do not know how to remove the signal from the panel.2.) ABS system (ABS Control Module) took a big hit and broke the circuit board it brings, I still operate the brakes. Here I will show you a couple of photos that shows that broken piece. My request is:Please give me advice to solve these two problems I have. I beg you help me, because in my country I have no access to parts such as the ABS. I need to know first how to eliminate the signal from the air bags on the panel. And then I wonder where I can buy the broken circuit (ABS Control Module) if any of you can sell me one or tell me where I can buy online.I give Thanks. I hope I helped.

If you are simply wanting to remove the dummy light for the Air Bag on the instrument panel, then you can remove the led that corresponds to the air bag. Not sure if there is another way, but I know that would work. No clue on the ABS though.

Hey buddy. Yes, certainly that is the only alternative that other people have told me. But I wonder if there is a less drastic, they could damage my instrument panel. Thanks for answering my question, my friend.
