Does anyone know if these rims will fit my 2009 Vibe GT?2003-2008 Toyota Matrix Pontiac Vibe 16" Factory OEM Wheel Rims Hard to find used rims. Thanks Mick
Nope. Went through this when I first got ours... the hubs are different from 09 upward and the dealer said that multifit applications would also be a bad idea. I found that my local dealer who sold me the snows was easily able to source OEM Toyota Camry Rims (dealer take offs they call them). Really didn't add much to the overall package. The key is that these rims are hub centric, they sit on the hubs to provide stability whereas a multifit application may not, they rely on the studs for fitment. I'm not sure if this also applies to the Corolla rims which can be used on the 1.8 or not, but the hubs on the 2.4's are certainly different. Hope this helps...
The earlier rims will fit the 1.8L '09-'10 but not the 2.4L.

You need the steel rims that fit a 09-10 2.4L base or AWD Vibe. That is what J TO ENVY and her mom have on their 09 GTs for winter tires. They need to be 5x114 hubs, probably 16"x6-1/2" rims. I would say look on http://www.car-part.com but they are likely to be rather expensive on there for a set, like $40+ each. I believe you will need to get new lug nuts also, since the alloy wheels use lugs that don't really seat the steel wheels correctly. I bought some alloy lug nuts for $20 shipped on ebay. Shouldn't pay more than $1 per lug, probably less for steel wheel lugs.I didn't find anything for Vibes or Matrix close to you, but I did look for 2009 Camry wheels and this place has 3 and is about 80 miles away.2009WheelToyota Camry 000 A0 DJ025 $40actual General Auto Recycling USA-RI(Tiverton) Request_Quote 401-624-6687 Request_Insurance_Quote This place has two and is about 25 miles away, actually they have 3, but one is priced at $60. Like others have done here, pick up a set of "take-offs" from a newer Toyota Camry. Then mount your choice of rubber onto them. Then you're set for winter These pics show me when I picked up my rims from a salvage yard ($50 each) and then what my winter tires look like with a cheap set of Taiwanese wheel covers ($10 each) just to keep the Vibe looking somewhat sporty
Quote, originally posted by Mick-F »Thank you very much t, I will check those places out. I guess the Camery wheels fit the 09 Vibe?Yes. As trb mentioned, my mom and I both have 2007 Camry / 2009-2010 Vibe 2.4L Base/AWD 16" steel wheels on our 2009 GTs. I got all four of my mom's on eBay, I got three of mine through a local on Craig's List and one from a local junkyard. All eight of the wheels we got were dealer take offs and had less than 1000 miles on them, so they were essentially brand new.I managed to score two sets of 2003-2010 Vibe steel wheel-specific lug nuts for us last winter because I was eventually going to get OEM wheel covers so the Vibes would look a little nicer during the winter months. If you want to use OEM wheel covers, you will definitely need the OEM steel wheel-specific lug nuts because they are what hold the wheel covers on. As tpollauf showed, you can of course also use universal wheel covers that just snap into place, so you could get some lug nuts on eBay for cheap. Here's a picture of the setup both our 2009 GTs have for winter:2007 Toyota Camry / 2009-2010 Vibe 2.4L Base/AWD 16" steel wheels (#19184107)2009-2010 Vibe 2.4L Base/AWD 16" wheel covers (#24100434)205/55/16 Kelly Explorer tires 2003-2010 Vibe steel wheel-specific lug nuts (#88972746)
