Vacationing in BC!

So I got my plane tickets for Vancouver the last day of Air Canada's seat sale (and saved $300!) so we're going to Vancouver and then to Victoria in a month and a half. Can anyone tell me - I know the ferry from Van to Vic drops you off in Vic about half an hour north at the Saanich peninsula (right?)... is there any shuttle or anything to get you downtown since we won't have a vehicle?

Cool... I just booked my hotel room in Victoria at the Delta Hotel/Resort. Plan on doing some Whale watching - hopefully the orca pods are stilla round. I think I read they are around to end of October? I've been to Victoria before, but not Vancouver (unless you count catching my connecting flight to Vic) and my boyfriend has been to Vancouver (his brother lives there) but not Victoria. I'm so excited!!!

I hope that your Air Canada tickets will be good at this time... They seem to go bankrupt and I think it wont be long...A friend of me who work there, said a few time ago that he has to use his personal credit card because the hotel refuse to bill Air Canada as usual... They didn't pay the last bills... Take care!

Hiya Sputnik! I just noticed you in the apparel contest too! So I wanted to say good luck with your entry and your trip! Sorry to say, but all this time i have lived here in greater vancouver, I have never seen the whales. Nor have I been a "walk-on" onto the Victoria ferry. I have driven there, .... and mostly take the ferry to Nanaimo. You should enjoy yourself again though, its quite beautiful on the island!! Its too bad you can't take your vibe with you. He/She will miss you

Oh I definitely will be. I plan on buying a new memory card for the camera. Its only a 2.1 megapixel but it seems to do a pretty good job!
