So as everyone knows I travelled to Arizona this last weekend... after getting through the torturous "asking dad" speach I proposed. She said "you bet I will" and all is well.We spent a lot of time that weekend driving around and my eyes were peeled for Vibe's. I even had some of my windsheild flyers just in case. From Sedona to Chandler, and Phoenix to Tuscon I did not see one Vibe. I counted about seven Matrix's... but none of Pontiac's step children. Let's just say I was a little discouraged. It was hot in Arizona... and all the "dry heat" everybody told me about... well it's a load of cr@p. 110 degrees is still 110 degrees... even when it's 9 o clock at night The coolest part of the trip was the fact that Susan's, my new fiance, grandfather lives next to the GM Testing facility. What I wouldn't give to take my little Vibe for a spin around that track... guess I'll just have to head over to Epcot here in Florida and take a spin around that track. Oh well, so if you're in Arizona, where it's 100 degrees at night, and you drive a Vibe... represent! That's some of that thug talk I learned from slbpsi63.
quote: That's some of that thug talk I learned from slbpsi63. Congrats on joining the wedding planinng club. You can have my seat. I graduate in two weeks , LOL.I love Tuscon AZ. It didn't cool down to the mid 70's for you at night. That sucks. When I was there for summer vaca, it was 115 during the day and 75-85 at night.
Yea it's a dry heat . . . . but so is my oven! I first saw my outside temp gauge hit 120 a couple of weeks ago. I think 120 is also a setting on my oven!I see about 2 to 3 Vibes a day and probably 4 Matrices. They're around but people tend to hibernate here in August. The unwritten rule of the road here during the summer is anyone with their car windows open has the right of way. 'cause you know their air isn't working and you don't want to cross those folks.
