Has Anyone had their engine's ECM Flashed? (2009+ 1.8L 2ZR-FE)

Post by zoomie »

My car has what was installed at factory and dont feel like gambling with a $100+ engine scan at a dealership to tell me whether or not there's any updated versions as I'm hoping there's improved DFCO logic that can resolve my near idle stalling woe's.My thinking is since there's a flash for DFCO problems in the 2011 Corolla http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=45962 but Toyota cant flash my car unfortuneately, but maybe something DFCO related has been introduced since September 2008.

I've never seen anything on a reflash for the Vibe.I notice that it does the 500 rpm stutter only when driving slowly in 1st or second without coasting off-gas before hitting the clutch. Never on deceleration from 3rd and never from coasting 4 or 5 seconds in gear, off-gas.
