WTB: 16 inch Vibe/Matrix wheels - 2009 or newer

Post by NWEric »

Looking for OEM 16 inch alloys from 2009 or newer Matrix or Vibe. 2nd choice would 17 inch. Prefer local in the NW (Oregon/Washington).

So I have a line on some 17 inch Matrix wheels but would still prefer 16 inch.

If I'm not mistaken, aren't all the 16" wheels on 2009-2010 Vibes only steel wheels? The only alloys I've seen are for the 2.4L cars, and they are either 17" or 18" wheels.

There are five different wheels for 2009-2010 Vibes:1. 16" steel for 1.8L Base2. 16" steel for 2.4L Base and/or AWD3. 17" for AWD4. 17" for 2.4L Base and/or AWD5. 18" for GTThere is a 16" wheel that was available on 2009+ Matrices, but it is 5x100.

You may want to try a Toyota dealer in your area besides Craigslist or Kijiji. You'll pay more for new rims but you'll also avoid shipping charges!Go have a look at various tire shops. They always have lots of rims on the wall. Then you can see close up the details of the paint and such.Plus the aftermarket has much more choice and style then the stock alloys on Vibes and Matrix, IMO!.....like these 17's!!! (they're dual fit, so they have the 5-100 and 5-114 bolt pattern)

Thanks for the info. My mistake. I thought some of the Toyota Matrix S 2.4 models came with 16 inch alloys. I guess 17 inch will work.
