2005 Base Vibe Reverse/Back-up Light Replacement?

How do you access the bulbs to change them for the reverse? I tried snaking my hand between the bumper cover and body and there isn't much room when trying to do it blindly. Is there a trick? Thanks.

The trick is to not care how scuffed up your hand will get. It is tough to do it blindly, but I guess that's a talent I have. Just push your hand up there, feel for the wire, follow it to the housing and turn either direction until you feel it rotate, then pull it out. There is no easy way that I know of.

so does the entire lap come forward out of the bumper or are you just twisting the bulb out of the socket?

Not sure how or why I couldn't get it out before. Last night I laid down on the creeper, rolled up to the back and within about 5 minutes I had both of them changed. Just the bulb socket comes out.
