2009-10 head light up/down adj.

In all the adjustment posts I've read info has only been given on the 03-08 Vibes.The right/left adjustment for the 09/10 is very obvious but nothing is visible for the up/down adjustment. All the manual says is...[paraphrased] "you need to see the dealer because this is too sensitive an adjustment for a dumb customer."I need mine up. By the time I saw the furry legs of the deer I almost ate him. If the other lane had been occupied I'd have been done for.Has anyone found this?

Not sure how. Well I mean I ASSUME i know how.. but I took it to the dealer. They did it for free when I had my oil changed. The service manager did tell me it was a pain the the a**. Good luck!

This is the only adjustment. If you pull your car up to a wall and turn the adjuster, you will see that the light is adjusted up and down as well as left to right. My right healight always shifts itself up every few months.But if you really want to you can unbolt the headlight assembly and shim in certain spots to adjust the height.

Excellent!!! That adjuster only says R and L so I never figured it would raise it. I'll give it a try. I'll try the counter clockwise first. Thanks much.

Wait, how do you adjust left and right? I know how to adjust up and down because as posted above in the picture, R stands for raise and L stands for lower. I understand that perfectly but I haven't found how to go left and right?

I don't think you can. Any car I've seen, at least newer ones, can only go up and down. No left to right.

R=raise, L= lower. Okay. I think U=up and D= down would have been better...since people like me get stuck in the brain when we thinkR=right, L= left. Inconceivable!!!!
