Hey vibe community. Just have quick question to those who had lowered or knows stuff about lowering the vehicle. I used to have dropped e36 (BMW 325) and I had it pretty lowered but wheels never hit the body. So I'm lookin for a nice springs to drop my vibe and I don't want on hills (I live in mountains) hearing nor feeling the sound of somethin hitting the body... My friend on Honda accord used to have low springs and each time he hits the bump his car was jumping like happy ride, personally I think it's annoying, and after it grounds I would always hear this sound of springs hitting the car. And since I mention I live in mountains around 1.5k elevation. So when I'm late and going 80 on 55 speed limit I want feel the ground like I used on e36... Preferably more than 2 inches drop... all help is really apprciated!
Sounds like your friend might have cut springs, not properly spec'd lowering springs. I've not heard of anyone here using Vibe specific springs (Eibach, Tein, Canuck) ever mention tire to body contact or uncontrolled rebound (which are symptomatic of cutting your springs). If you want to drop more than 2" I think you want Eibach Sportlines or Tein S-Tech. All that said, no Vibe will ever corner like your e36.
