Serp belt replaced--thanks!

Post by momsvibe »

Our daughter took our 06 Vibe to the local indy today to get new tires installed (BF Goodrich Advantage T/A if anybody's curious) and the tech noticed the serpentine belt showed a lot of cracks and should be replaced soon. After some searching here, I got all the info I needed, picked up a Gates belt from O'Reilly, and put it on, apparently without a hitch.Kudos to all who have contributed to the DIY and maintenance fora here. These cars don't need as much care and feeding as my euromobiles, but it's great to have such a wonderful resource!
