I need to disconnect the battery to install a new headlamp bulb... Will i need a passcode for the radio? Is that little blinking anti-theft light for real?

the blinking red LED is just a "pseudo" theft deterrent, The 05 radios have no theftlock system, you can disconnect the battery all you want and the only affect on the radio will be that it will have lost it's clock setting when you re-apply power.it is possible to change a drivers side headlight bulb without pulling the battery, but it is tight to get your hand in there

Haha. Is that really all that blinking light is there for? I had meant to ask, but then I switched to an aftermarket HU and forgot about it.
