No Longer a Lurker

Hello, kids!! After much research looking through tons of cars, a Vibe/Matrix was my only option that met all of my requisites. So~ about two weeks ago I found the one! It's a 2003 Vibe in Lava! His name is Gambit.I have been doing a lot of work on him and whenever I do searches related to what I'm needing to know, I keep getting threads from here. I figured if I make use of this forum so much, I should probably join. Nice to meet you all!! And thanks to whoever the person is who posted about finding a splash guard for the wheel well for so cheap. lol That helped me out a lot. I had just finished working on my brakes, went for a test drive, it came unclipped and. . . in a horrendous gust of wind, the silly plastic piece swooshed out and was ripped right off!! Arrrrgh! DX And no way was I going to be stupid enough not to replace it. Not living in Iowa. Anyway. . . As I was saying, it's nice to meet you guys, and I am very glad to have found these forums.

Welcome to our humble dysfunctional family! oh and be careful around here, there is a nasty little bug going around. It's called the "Mod Bug" symptoms usually consist of loss of income and new parts slowly start to appear on vehicle. It's very contagious.

Oh no!! Is my nerdiness already that obvious? lol Thank you guys also!!I would like to see this almost twin of Gambit's!Something terrible happened to me today. e_e I dropped my brother off at a job of ours and then I left to ship some things quick. On the way back, I saw drips on the street that I came from and I was like, "Auuugh, I hope that isn't me!!!" Well I got to the driveway and yeah it was me. . . I went out and rubbed at one of the drips and my fingers were not oily. More like watery dirt. I smelled it and it didn't smell like anything either. And it just evaporated off my fingers. I looked under my car and saw nothing dripping, then popped the hood and checked most of my fluids and they were all good. D:!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY CAR?! Pretty sure he shouldn't make a looong trail of something on the streets.

Nice to meet you!!! I don't have either of those things, Camogirl! D: Haha. I was very happy that I miraculously got power windows, though. And I'm looking into getting a moon roof.It was clean until I rubbed the street. I actually went out just a little bit ago and checked one fluid I didn't check! Window cleaner! I had just filled it up and it's empty. Wsheeeew. That's not so bad. . . I'll have to figure out what happened when the sun comes up. :3First thing, I'm planning on putting carbon fiber vinyl over my side molding strips. They are so banged up I can't stand to look at them. D:
