Ok, I know to many of you, this is common sense, but I didn't know, so I'm posting what I found out.If you are doing any accent lighting or anything electrical, you can use the turn signal wiring for a 12v power source. Here's a pic of the wiring:If you use the solid green wire, your add-on will come on with the driving lights...If you use the green w/white stripe wire, your add-on will blink with your turn signals.I know I'm not the only one who has thought of adding turn signals in the mirrors, and now I know to use the green w/white wire for my power source. Just wanted to clarify the difference in the green and green w/white wires.
I was gonna wait and post before I tried wiring anything to see if anyone knew what was what, but decided to go ahead and try to get it right the 1st time ended up making my Angel Eyes blink with my turn signals.lolthat's how I found this out
Thought:Two led light strips under the footwellls. One on the driver side hooked to the driver side turns, then the opposite for the passenger. Result: Blinking footwells for each side...
