Someone from Bob the oil guy say this is a synthetic blend oil and based on their oil analysis, it claimed that it does has a special additive build into it.. I am wonder if anyone use this?
I used it once during the summer last year. Funny that it's only about 50 cents a bottle cheaper then the full synth! My seat-of-the-pants dyno noticed no diffrence but the mileage was great. The full synth 0w-20 Toyota oil works just as good! I'm a repeat customer!

Since you live in Mn, I would never consider using a 10W, except for maybe in July and August. Even then, the highest I would go is 5W especially if using a good synthetic. In 09-10 vibe 1.8 liter I would use 0W or 5W-20. 08 and earlier would probably stick with 0W or 5W-30. Personally 0W-30 would be my choice and after a few tens of thousands of miles in my 2010 1.8, I might switch from Mobil1 (or Toyota or another quality synthetic) 0W-20 to Mobil1 0W-30 as engine loosens up a bit. Mobil1 0W-30 can be bought in a 5 quart jug cheaper than 0W-20 (which is only available in quarts) most of the time, except for this last time with 24 bucks worth of rebates on buying 10 or more quarts.
I use 0w-20 year-round. I paid $5.70 per litre (got 5 bottles) and $7.55 for the filter. After taxes and enviro charges I spent $38.90 from Charlesglen Toyota in Calgary on August 25th.
Some recent Toyotas require synthetic within this pulldown listhttp://www.toyota.com/owners/p....htmlOil change intervals for 0w-20 at 10k mi or 16k kms!
I am confused. Does that mean synthetic is required to maintain warranty coverage? Or is it just to warn against changing synthetic oil at longer intervals?
