Winter tire size

Post by Vince0259 »

What size of winter tire do you use on your vibe. Last year I had 195/65 r15 because they were used tires. But this year im looking to buy new tires. I was wondering if it would be better for me to buy new wheels with new tires in 205/55 r16 size like my summer size? Thanks for your comments.

The 195/65 size would be better because thinner tires are better in the snow, but the difference really shouldn't matter much. I'd say go for the 205/55. With the extra width you also get more grip.

I have no problems with 205/55/R16 winters either.
