Ill post pics of whatever i get And Thanks to everyone who helped me with the vibe during these past months.

I hope you're getting a stick!I also love the Tibby's from those years - reminds me of when the Datsun 240z came out - an affordable fun car.

oh u know i am. theres no point in getting an AT. right now the only ones i can afford are rebuilts but obviously im gonna get them properly inspected before purchasing.here are a couple of the ones i am considering.http://miami.craigslist.org/md....htmlh ... pb....html

The Tibby is not a bad car. Are you getting the V6? If you are make sure the dealer you buy it from replaces the Pulley Damper (Hyundai uses a pulley/Harmonic balancer combo and the rubber comes off the metal and causes the belt to pop off. Other then that they are reliable causes for the most part
I think all 2.7l V6's are timing belt so if it has over 60,000 miles see if it has been done. The Pulley Damper(this is the Hyundai name for the part) is easy enough to change. i did one on my Sonata, simply unbolt the bolt and remove it and bolt it back up. It takes 15 mins on it

I paid around $350 at the dealer to have it replaced, so not cheap. Also not a DYI unless you know what you're doing. I traded it win with 98k (not all mine) on the odo and no issues with the engine at all. One more thing, the spark plugs (60k interval as well) are a royal PITA to change since you need to remove the intake plenum to get to the rear 3. I did it myself otherwise big $$ at dealer. If you get around to it, upgrade to iridiums - good for 100k. Here's a how-to: http://hennesseystealth.site11.com/santafe.html

holy crap that does look dificult. i might just pay to get it replaced. im not that mechanically savvy. and i rather not mess with so many important components of the engine

I kinda like the last two - older and cheaper but with low miles. Though black is not my favorite color, number three looks like it has a front lip and it has the hood scoop and nice looking exhaust and aftermarket wheels.

yeah my top 2 picks are #4 and #2 in that order. i like their two tone interior look a lot. plus they both have intake and headers. bad thing is none of the owners know what type of headers cuz none of them put it in themselves

While I don't have any experience with BMW's, I would be hesitant to purchase one. My concern would be that maintenance and repair costs would be a lot more than the "non-premium" brands.

Good deal and low miles for a 9 year old car. However be warned that parts are more expensive then Vibe parts. Big issues in this model and year are the following1. AC2. Window regulators3. Sunroof issues4. Auto trans issues(of course this is present in the 5 series also)5. AlternatorGet your self tools and a manual and learn how to work on it and you should be fine.Oh by the way, German cars are a little different then most other cars in that the lug nut has the stud attached to it so watch your feet when you remove the wheels
Cool thnx for the heads up. I signed up to a e46 forum and i asked them what common issues these cars had....no one answered. There really is no other forum like genvibe....
