This all started a couple months ago. From what I can gather it is inconsistent and occurs randomly. When in gear and pushing in on the clutch when the RPM's go down the vibe stalls but restarts fine every time. This has happened about 10 times over the last three months and I drive about 100 miles a day to and from work.It has 196K miles, replaced clutch and fly wheel (lightweight) at 70k. Change oil regularly with mobil 1 full synth, plugs, etc. Never really had to replace anything on the motor except the coolant thermostat and MAF sensor. Does this sound like an IAC sticking from carbon build up? Could it cause the car to stall? I never cleaned it and just read a few threads on here about it. Any help much appreciated as the wife tends to drive it sometimes and shes not too mechanically inclined. Not to mention it is a little dangerous when stalling making a right turn...no power steering..lol
oh yeah forgot to mention that I have noticed the last couple days the RPM's some times are at about 1500 when stopping in traffic (same scenario, in gear then going to neutral or clutch in and RPMS go down) until I tap the gas to bring it down to normal.
