I am looking to buy something very soon. I like the Vibe but haven't seen the signs of a shortage that some are mentioning. Most dealers around me have them sitting on the lot for awhile before selling. The sales figures don't seem really high either. I sent off requests for prices and I got a lot of replies stating I could order a vibe for 300 to 500 over invoice. On top of this is the new 4.9% financing offer. Is this regional or nationwide? They must not be selling so good or why the special financing offer? In short its my opinion that we will see some type of rebate soon unless sales pick up. Does anyone know when they will do crash tests on the vibe? That would be interesting to see as well. Greg
I am also in your position. I want to buy something very soon (1 month or so) and was wondering if I should wait awhile for the popularity to decrease or whatnot. I did also notice a few dealers having the same stock of Vibe's on their lot for weeks on end and really started to think if these were as 'hot' as the dealers keep pushing on me. Maybe it's just my area, but I have only seen a couple Vibe's on the road within the past couple months.I personally love the Vibe more each time I see it, so I don't need any convincing whether or not I want to buy one, but some nice perks would help out the effort! In Montreal, there are no VIBEs sitting on any lot. The dealer where I gotmine doesn't even have one in the show room. There is a 6-12 week wait. The GT is easier to bargainbecause they are more expensive, but my salesmanager said that not on VIBE has been sold under suggested retail....except mine of course. RyanBlack Vibe GT
