Does anyone have the storage add on

Post by tonyoci »

Do any of you have the storage add on that goes in the trunk. The one that adds a few compartments etc.I was wondering if it was worth the money. It seems that I can only find it in a package for $300 including floor mats (which I want), seat covers (which would be nice) and something else I forget.I carry a lot of bits and pieces around with me so it looked good. What do you guys think.T

I have one that I used, but it doesn't fit in the back with my sub box. I did use it so it's not new. If you're interested, I would sell it for $85 plus shipping. It's sitting downstairs collecting dust right now.

not sure, it's kinda heavy. but Probably about $20 I figure if you're in CA.The cargo carrier is nice, I'm only about 3 inches off. I used it to hold all my various items like volleyball, hiking boots/socks, blankets, etc. it folds flat out of the way too. I tried bungee cording it on top of the sub box, but that didn't work either. oh well. it came in my car already, so it's no big deal. I have the cargo nets so that helps with some items. i have a big tool bag and drill bag in the hatch so that eats up all my space. no room for the cargo box thing.

If you're talking about the cargo box, I have one. It's great to use when you're grocery shopping so your bags don't roll around all over the back and things falling out of the bags, etc.You can get it from a dealer separately, or from a site like http://www.1stpontiacparts.com/.

My Vibe came with the storage add on and I really like it. It comes in very handy when you have many smaller objects to carry and don't want them rolling around. Folds pretty flat. I think it is worth the money.

I have the cargo box, and find it to be very useful in all my cars. Great to take with you when going shopping. Will keep bags of anything from sliding around. If you want one, don't buy one from the dealer. Someone found the same thing from another manufacturer who probably made it for GM, and it was about half the price without a pontiac label on it. Do a search here for cargo carrier or cargo box and you'll probably find the link.KSNeptune
