cruise control button

Post by Gvibe »

'05 Vibe cruise button popped out. Able to get it back in but cruise does not work now. Could not find a fuse for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't remember ever reading a post with that issue. Might need a new stalk.

Thanks jake 75 for your response. I feel the same way because I have searched the forum and couldn't find a answer. The fuse also controls other electrical componets in the Vibe and they are working. I ordered the sw from RockAuto (my favorite) and with the help from Sublinewinds service manual I should be cruising! I will post my results.

As usual Rock Auto came thru quick. But with two wires not three, horn ground I think. If your cruse button pops out and you get it back in and it doesn't work, on the back side there is a small screw that holds a cover over three slide contacts that the button moves on, one was bent over. I straightened it and I'm sure it would have worked, O'well $40.00 and I have a new one. I hope this helps someone! I have been using this forum for over a year, it is the best of all the forums I have used! Thanks Guys
