moldy smell

I have a 2007 Vibe that I noticed a hissing sound whenever I made a left turn with the air conditioner on. I took it to the dealer and they could not find anything wrong, after a few months I found the problem myself, The drain tube for the air conditioner fell off and water was leaking into the interior and would drip onto the hot fan motor when making a left turn resulting in the hissing sound. The dealer fixed the drain tube but now I have a moldy smell in the car that I cant get rid of. Ive had the car back to the dealer 4 times, they have cleaned and sanitized the system and removed the hepa filter, still moldy. Anyone have this problem or have any idea how to get rid of the smell?

What dealer in the Metro Detroit area has been taking care of this Vibe?Also, was the interior wet? If so, you may want to see if the mold smell is actually coming from the carpet itself There is a thread around here on members taking Lysol from the outside vents and sanitizing the system via that route.

Iposted a link wayback about a product. Its foam,but ya gota drill a hole in the HAVAC box to inject it. Ya gota get to the source of the smell.At home on the window units I use DOW SCRUBBING BUBBLES,rinse with clear water from a trigger bottle,then spray with LYSOL.THE CAR KIT
