Thinking about getting HIDs; need opinions.

Post by vibe5264 »

I have a 2005 Base Vibe, and I really want to get HIDs, but I can't seem to find projectors for the car and I don't want to get pulled over for it... I want the pure white ones, not blue or purple or anything like that. Suggestions on what I should buy?TO CLARIFY:I don't want to retrofit projectors. If I can't buy it assembled, I don't want it. I want a way to do HIDs without projectors.

KeitVibe on here (Ultimate Retrofit) sells these. It was really easy for the retrofit but I don't balme you for not wanting too. He has a Facebook for the company too if he doesn't shoot a message here....

Another question, did you have to unmount your radiator to get your factory lights out/put the news ones in? (or is there some trick I'm missing? haha.) I was just looking to see how hard they'd be to get out.

You to take the front bumper off....It's not too badIt actually doesn't have to come all thw way off, just enough for you to get to the 3rd bolt

I found its a lot easier to pop the bumper off. You wouldnt believe how easy it actually is. I was nervous at first but it became second nature whenever I wanted to do something else...
