Left side not as loud/ clear as right

Post by MotoAce51 »

I replaced the front components in the Vibe and everything sounded great but the new tweeters had a slight buzz on the left. No big deal. But then I noticed the left side was playing a few dB lower than the right side. I took it to the shop I bought the speakers and they looked at it and said it was just the +/- being switched on that side. I left it and fixed it as they said. The issue persisted. I just replaced the HU with an aftermarket Pioneer and the sound is a lot more clear but the left side is still a little lower. It drives me nuts. Any ideas? I searched on here but anything I found had little to no input. Should I bypass the stock amp? Replace the stock amp? Try switching the connections again? Any ideas?

Odd enough. I was in Buffalo for the Baby Shower and I was playing with the wires in the amp and everything started to sound fine... Think its a bad connection? Or something pinched...

ehh...this one may remain a mystery unless it messes up againthen ya gotta find a fixIf I had to guess tho, I'd say a shorted wire since messing with it fixed it
