2009 Vibe manual trans life?

Hello folks,One of the reasons I bought my 2009 Vibe with the manual trans is because manual trans are less likely to break then auto trans (yes I know the clutch will wear out eventually)However I read posts about dying manual trans due to bearing failure.I know this is mainly in the 2003 and 2004 models but have they fixed this issue by the 2009 model year? I would like my trans to not have to have any work done on it until the clutch goesAre the manual trans for the 2009-2010 Vibes reliable?Thanks

if I remember right, I saw a table somewhere where it showed that the 03-04 had more transmission problems than it should, it was attributed to the manual, not automatic, and I believe it was contained to those two years. I'll go see if I can find that table.

Thanks for your post. i was asking about the manual trans reliability. It would suck for me to have managed to get the only model car where the auto trans is tougher then the manual trans Thanks again
