Buying a new set of Summers

Post by bull77 »

Looking to replace my Toyos with end of season sales going on. I'm running the TRD rims (17x7) now and have narrowed it down to either the General UHPs or the Goodyear Eagle GTs. Leaning towards the GTs only because I'm concerned about the UHPs treadlife. Looking for your opinion on what size and which tire. Thanks!

After my experience with General, I wouldn't get them again.

205-50-17 is what I have and my speedometer/odometer reads 3.6% low (reads 110, speed signs and measured distances read around 114) as measured over a known highway distances many times doing the speed limit. So far they're wearing evenly and they do really well in the rain!

I've got Goodyear Eagle GT's, which are the same thing as the Goodyear GT I'm assuming, but IDK lol. I like them, wear evenly, don't leak air. I only got these because they were cheaper than any of the others.
