Has anybody had any experience with this company?I was thinking to buy it because it covers the car for the length of the auto loan (3 years/36K miles)and it covers quite a bit of stuffhere is the brochurehttp://www.partnersffcu.org/up...e.pdfSince the car has ~110K on the odo, Im figuring now might be the right time to get a warranty since stuff starts to happen around this time.Any opinions/comments?Thanks
Well I ended up getting the middle one.it cost me 1400, which I think is a good deal for 3 years and no deductible and that I am able to take the road side assistance off my auto insurance
I hope it works out for you however the level you got doesn't cover Tranny work and that should be your biggest concern. Is your car Auto or Manual? Have you done any work on it yet (clutches, fluid change, etc? What year is it and model? My feeling these types of insurance are not really worth it for these cars. However you know the condition of your car better than I and it might be worth it in your case. The print about reasonable labor rates is? Who determines that? Goodluck with it!

its an auto. The PO told me that they just got the fluid and filter changed out in May.its an 04.The reasonable labor rates are determined by the national consensus which most chain places use.Actually I think the contract I signed had the A/T listed... Interesting, Im gonna have to look into that
I would be hard pressed to put that kind of money on the insurance without the Tranny covered.

Isn't there a place that will sell you the genuine GM extended warranty at a discount? Ever since I had more than two nickels to rub together I have avoided buying extended warranties but my '09 has so much stuff to go wrong I am tempted to do it this time. Have until early Jan. 2012 to decide.

Since my last post I got mail from GM Protection Plan. Going to their web site I see that to extend my warranty for 7 years and by 56,000 miles (currently at 12,000 miles and 31 months) is $2,360 including sales tax. It does not appear to be the same as "bumper to bumper". For example, I do not see that the radio/cd payer is covered. I am going to wait until the end of the year before I make up my mind. Can do that so long as you are still within the 36 month 36,000 mile limits. It probably will be a little higher at that time. With my low miles they are probably overcharging me. It might make more sense to (1) take my chances or (2) get something new with a 3 yr/36m warranty.
