Radio Troubles

Post by 09vGT »

I ran into a weird radio problem today. Today I was switching over from XM to my CD that I had in the stock head unit. It kind of hesitated, but then played. I notice that the info was not showing like it normally does. For an example, it would have "T1 On My Level". It does show if I press the info button. I thought maybe it was the disk, so I ejected it and then noticed that the screen was completely dark when it's suppose to say "Ejecting". After spitting it out, all came back on as normal on the radio. I put it back in, black screen again when its suppose to say "Loading disk". This same type of thing also happens when I turn the volume up or down, on CD, XM, AM, FM. It will show the little box filling up and down for the level but to the left its suppose to have the word Volume: and then show the box. Any advice?

Never mind. I disconnected the batter for around 30 minutes and it cleared up the issue. Must've just been a hiccup in the radio.

Good to hear Ethan .It never ceases to amaze me what disconnecting the negative battery cable for 30 minutes can fix .
