Upgrade and Alignment of Headlights

Post by mbfrostyvb05 »

Real newby learning to do lots myself. Decided to join as I am always getting great instructions and advice just by reading. 2004 VIbe would like to do something about the rather limited headlight power/visibility that comes standard with the car. Can do the work just need product rec's on best headlight lamp upgrade and how to alignment for best visibility without blinding oncoming traffic. Thanks much. Mark

I just got some really good headlight bulbs, went out to a dark, empty parking lot, and adjusted them to where they satisfied me. I don't think I bother traffic, because my cutoff is still pretty low.

Welcome. I just did the projector Retrofit myself. Its not easy but it looks good. Make sure your lights are not hazed over. Cleaning them up will do wonders!

You could probably have the lights aimed higher. I had to have mine adjusted up because they were pointing in front of the car. Though the lights on the seconds generation Vibes are really bright, especially with my big round GT style fog lights.
