Instrument Panel shows no life!!!

Post by jackospades »

Hey Genvibers, My 2003 Vibe Gt's instrument panel didn't wake up this morning when the car started. The Tach didn't move the odometer didn't light up just the diagnostic lights went through their routine. Any suggestions? I believe it to be a fuse but does anybody know which one. I greatly appreciate it and keep Viben'..

first guess would be the Gauge fuse in the under dash fuse block. If not that, then maybe the AM1 fuse in the under dash fuse block or the DOME fuse in the under hood fuse blockAny of those three would likely cause more to not work in addition to the gauges, so if those fuses are all ok and the problem is stil lthere, take a complete inventory of all the electric stuff on the car, and post up a list of everything that doesn't work so we can look for a common point in all those circuits that wouldn't affect things that still work.

Make sure the dimmer wheel isn't all the way at the bottom of its rotation.

Yea Baby it is fixed!!! Even though the Dome fuse checked green it was busted. The location of the fuse block on the interior is ridiculous especially for guy that is 6'1 and 250. Thanks for the help guys.
