I am trying to get my car fixed, and need to buy some parts, specifically a rear hub assembly. I have found 2 online retailers who sell the part, but neither is doing a very good job communicating with me. Does anyone have any experience with these guys? What online retailers have you used and would use again??http://www.hub-assembly.com part# HA590002http://hub-assembly.com/Scripts/prodList.asphttp://www.gmpartsdirect.compart #88970102
rock auto.com or carquest if you want a store to walk into. that first site seemed a bit unusual because who's ever heard of a parts store that only sells hub assemblies? You probably wanna avoid buying anything from Gmpartsdirect at all costs. I'd only use them as a very last option if you cant buy the part anywhere else. GL!
rockauto.com - Usually the first place I look. If anything a good place to find part numbers.stockwiseauto.com - Just discovered them recently. Bought KYB struts, shocks, etc. Re-useable DISCOUNT CODE "summerwise" for 10% discount...good all summer long.amazon.com - Yes Amazon. Only bought auto parts once. And I only buy items that are fulfilled by Amazon.
As promised, I wanted to note about the vendors. The hub-assembly.com gave me a great price on my part, 140 for one the dealer wanted 380 for. the dealer put the part in and the car is running great 2 days later. I would recommended them at this point, as they we very responsive to all my questions.I agree about parts direct, I never could get them to answer me until finally I told them I took my business elsewhere, then they told me sorry they didn't answer. likely will not do business with them in the future.
