DoubleBaril - 2003 Frosty Vibe AWD

Post by DoubleBaril »

I figure its about time I make a garage post for my car.To start it's a 2003 Pontiac Vibe AWD, fully loaded with sunroof.Installed the following:Trailer Hitch17" Mille Miglia wheels with winter tires16" Canadian Tire rims (not sure of the brand, haha).JVC Navigation DeckFake Floor with fiberglassed 8" JL W3 sub, powered by an Alpine 500w Mono amp.Cosmo SRI35% Tint all aroundCurrently have a Nintendo Gamecube installed in the armrest.I have a mid-spoiler ready for paint and install (I will wait until after winter to get it done).I will update this thread as the updates come. Here's a pic of when I first got it:More recent pic with the winter wheels installed: Here is a couple pics of the sub install:A little snow to have fun in: Pic of my head unit. Need to replace the surrounding bezel, as my last head unit required slight modification to fit. It'll be replaced in summer when I hit up a wrecker.

I like your winter rims a lot. They look sharp on that car.

You should switch the winter and summer wheels.

We need pics of that sub install man!!!!And I much prefer our "side skirt" area as opposed to the later models that flared out. I like the donk stance mine has .lol and that helps it out alot

Updated with a pic of the sub install. Also, thanks for the comments everyone. As for the wheels, I will use them this winter, as I bought them with winter rubber already installed. If i was to keep them as summer wheels, they would need to be refinished, and i'd have to buy rubber for 17's.

Yup, the spare and jack are still there, so everything remained functional. That was the reason for the custom install, otherwise I would have just bought a box for a bigger sub.Just updated a new pic showing what little amount of snow we have.

It looks good! I do like the 03-04 monotone frostys. The spoiler looks good and those rims aren't too bad either!
