Got a call from Jeff Strausser today. He said that the Vibe team was very unhappy they could not get us a car for the meet. It definitely sound like it was just unfortunate timing for us.Anyway, he did ask me to survey Vibe owners and find out what kind of aftermarket accessories you would like to see GM release for the Vibe. This can include anything in the following categories:Performance (CAI, Supercharger, Muffler, etc)Utility (bike racks, ski racks, gear organizers, etc)Appearance (tail lights, spoilers, etc)and so on. Of course, those are just examples. We would like to hear ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you folks would like to see released for the Vibe!Jeff said he was really pleased and excited to see all the customization that people did with their cars at the Michigan meet. Though he can't be there, I'm on camera duty to show him what we see at Saturday's meet. He says he collects these pictures and organizes them into presentations for his team.PLEASE DO NOT LIST CHANGES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN DESIGN, FEATURES, ETC. THIS IS NOT A LIST OF YOUR LIKES AND DISLIKES, BUT RATHER, A LIST OF WHAT AFTERMARKET ACCESSORIES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE DEVELOPED AND RELEASED BY PONTIAC!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
a GT-R appearance package for all models (but must be able to buy individual pieces if so wish to !)supercharger for awdintake for awdexhaust for awdthe moon....lol!
I would like to see some kind of performance springs or coil over kit available from GM. Maybe a cat back exhaust system or headers would be really cool too. A cold air intake would also be a great addition to the perfomance line up.Availability of a single spoiler for those who don't want both.

A supercharger would be nice.It would also be nice if they could come up with an aftermarket accessory that would enable the use of the AUX button on the stock radio.
I don't know if it's possible, but I would like this:A kit with a second battery that will help the poor 310 CCA Vibe stock battery on cold starting in the winter... Did someone not understand???

I have been obsessing about this for a few weeks now but ......-Dash Kits that color matches the exterior would be very cool http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=5095-Custom Door Sills would be terrific
Salsa (2-tone) Base Automatic Vibe with Moontune package
ANYTHING!!! The Vibe is so far behind the Matrix as far as aftermarket accessories go. I'd like to see a Supercharger.Carbon Fiber hoods, tail lights, and engin covers that look GOOD with the supercharger.Supercharger w/10psi boost. Sport suspension including sport sway bars. I'm afraid to ask for a turbo from GM. It would take them YEARS to 'develop' one.JDM style or projector head lights.More styles of body kits and spoilers! And my last request. A KIT TO SHAVE THE ROOF RACK OFF LIKE THE GXP VIBE And a supercharger.

-A cargo mat that is made out of rubber. - Pontiac branded Steering wheel Wraps is various color (mainly the same color as the exterior)- A hood deflector that fastens to the hood (taping optional but not exclusive)- At least one or two different styles of the Spoiler.- GM/Pontiac Branded CAI for those that don't with for the full out price of the Super Charger.- A variety of styles and colors for the Vibe Grill.. ***** IMO if the Vibe is meant for Gen X and Y I think there should be a ridiculous amount of accessories so you can feel like an individual... There seems to be TONS of stuff for the Matrix and the Vibe needs to catch up...
Salsa (2-tone) Base Automatic Vibe with Moontune package
•Aluminum Vibe Doorsills (Toyota makes Matrix ones, why no Vibe ones? ;_•I want to see carbon fiber accessories for the outside and interior of the car! CF Mirror covers, would be excellent, replacement CF fuel door, liscence plate holders for front/rear mb interior trim panels...•Leather steering wheel/shifter option for us base owners!•Different spoiler designs (GXP anyone?)•Would love to see Pontiac release the GTR ram air hood...And add in a vote for everything everyone else said, I just don't want to repeat here!
Some suspension components would be nice. Swaybars and such. Also, A replacement for the luggage rack that would cover holes and possibly a nice clean, SMALL spoiler inlcuded. And a body kit that didn't look like a snap-together model.

A GTX body kit would be nice.I'd also like to see a dual outlet muffler with a rear bumper cover that has the dual cutouts. And make it available for both the monotone AND 2-tone. No monotone-only like the sports package.

Yes, this definitely!!! Also would like to see a GM branded CAI, springs/suspension kits, more appearance accessories, especially for the two tone cars.

How about real body kits that replace the 2-tone clading and bumpers that match the body color. Bomex style. It's silly how I cannot order the clading and bumpers in satelite, they don't come painted, (that's what I was told @ the dealership).

quote:A GTX body kit would be nice.I'd also like to see a dual outlet muffler with a rear bumper cover that has the dual cutouts. And make it available for both the monotone AND 2-tone. No monotone-only like the sports package.for sure! I spoke to Rick at Car Flair (aka Krera Racing) in regards to what they are developing for the Vibe. They just released their SS hood (on the way) and working on some body kits and a possible dual exhaust and rear bumper. I'd like to see some HID projector lights, clear/red taillights, a CAI that actually is MADE for the Vibe, factory leather seats, heated seats, power seats, moonroof available without the tunes package, a custom sub box for the hatch that doesn't take away your cargo space, coilover kits, a better looking spoiler package, making the rims on the GTR or FX available or optional on the GT, a supercharger for both AWD and GT engines, and anything else you could possible think of for your car.
I would like to see some interior after market upgrades like a nicely padded center arm armrest. The stock one is just too hard. A plusher driver's and passenger door armrest would be nice too.(although harder to do). A better and quieter sunroof deflector would be great too.
LesterbBase Vibe, Salsa, Moons & Tunes, Power and Sport package,5 speed manual, and Security system. Two tone.
real eurotials but someone will make them before pontiac does. supercharger upgrade package( that neon srt-4 has 300 wheel hp mopar turbo uprgade already). im doubful that i'll see these first two but i hope to see the gt-r hood. (ask him does he know about the carbon fiber splitter on the gt-r bumper i want one).
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!
OK this would be some things that I would love to see, and possiably buy.-Some sort of hood preferably functional-CAI, Headers, and Exhaust-Springs-GPX effects-Sway Bars-Strut BarThink that a doable list
2003 Salsa base Vibe-Injen CAI-Borla Exhaust-Window tinting (darkest legal dont personally know the %)
I'd like to see a better cargo cover. Something that's solid enough to put things on, but easily removable when necessary.
Would you agree to debris acceptance? 2003 Vibe GTMods installed GM Top and Mid-Gate Spoilers, Cosmo CAI, TWM Short Shifter with Desert Eagle weighted shift knob, TWM Bronzoil Shifter Cable Bushings, Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust, Unichip, Injen Billet Aluminum Engine/Sparkplug covers and oil cap, Optima RedTop Battery, Lineage Ground Wire KitAwaiting install: Energy Suspension Motor Mounts, DC Sports Header
Whats the differance everything that gm will make they will charge double what any aftermarket product costs! Rear spiolers through gm, they want $900.00, ground effects, they want $1800.00. Yeah the only benifiet that there would be is that gm products is that it wouldnt void the warrenty! but still how would any body be able to afford the products? Krera racing is suppose to produce ground effects and the ram hood! But I would like to see gm make drop coils, and a cai ALSO A TURBO FOR THE GT MODEL, WITH GOOD PRICING!!!!!!!! I would also like to see single spiolers available!
yes, PTuning is not the same. I haven't had any luck w/ Krera Racing's website. I actually got thru to them via this site, http://carflair.com/pontiachoods.htm. no problem getting hold of them this way, but no response from their other sites.I really want to see some white faced guages. the red on black is difficult to read at night.
I remebered a few more things. When you order your vibe you can only put certian things with others, like you cant get 17" wheels with moons and tunes package. Whats that? Its going to be my car, Im ordering it, and im going to pay on it! I wanted the dvd nav system with the moon roof. I couldnt do it! We should be able to order our car the way we want it!!!!!
I wish a GM REMOTE CAR STARTER. For our crazy COLD WINTER.... Most of us had already installed a remote car starter, this is something usefull but ,beacause their is no OEM REMOTE CAR STARTE, we automatically loose a part of our warranty.... I mean if you experienced problems that could come from your remote starter, GM will refuse repair this part only because you have a remote car starter installed.JEFF
A supercharger/turbo for the GT...if they're worried about the danger to the engine try to make one with a little less boost than what the base engine gets. Also sporty rims like the ones on the fx vibe in the dressed to thrill section. plus everything else everyone suggested.
LaVa ViBe GT Mods:35% Tint (+15hp)6 CDs in changer (+7hp)Sunroof tilted up (+5hp)Blown Right Speaker (-5hp)UNC sticker (+10hp)
quote:A supercharger/turbo for the GT...if they're worried about the danger to the engine try to make one with a little less boost than what the base engine gets. The problem with that is, the price would be the same as the base S/C. The base S/C adds about 50-hp for about $3000. A S/C for the GT with less boost would add less hp, say approx 25 to 30-hp. Would you pay $3000 for 30 more hp? I doubt it.

Cool pics!! Things Gm might want to bring out hmmm.1. New display clusters different lighting etc. inside2. performance racing seats color matching vehicle.3. Cai definately4. Supercharger 5. complete ground effects kits, all types.6. spoilers different sizes and shapes.7. grill covers8. car body decals with GXR graphics worked in.9. engine aluminum dressups.10. carbon fibre hoods.I think that covers it, would love to go whole hog on dressing up the car. Just my 2 cents.

Lancer--you may have found the first pics of a hopped-up Voltz! I think that car is right hand drive. It has Toyota badges but Vibe characteristics (like the rear quarter windows). The taillights look cool, too, but would require some major body modifications.Accessories I'd like to see:-a GM CAI that performs at least as well as Injen/AEM ones-chrome wheels-a leather interior with a decent grade of leather (not Mercedes quality but better than WalMart quality)-different spoilers-spring kit-Strut Tower Brace-Sway bar kit-some way to boost the output of the GT engine-white face gauges would be great (like in the '03 Corolla S) while keeping the round chrome ringed pods-REAL TIRES-not Continental crappy tires-chrome grilles (all 4, upper and lower)-Altezza style taillights-aluminum door sills, custom for the Vibe like the Matrix has-a power/heated seats kit-functional ram-air hood w/modified air box-REAL HORNS--not leftover crap from the Toyota parts bin that sounds like it belongs on the Toyota Echo clown car!!! (I'm about ready to order air horns from Mack and rig them up on my Vibe)-some way to modify the DRL's and the automatic headlight feature that doesn't work-a bolt up axle-back exhaust that doesn't make the car sound ricey--dual tips out both sides of the rear bumper would be great-factory window tint (since my retarded state won't allow window tint that wasn't factory installed)-a way to shave the R/C car looking radio antennaLooks like GM's Santa Claus is going to be VERY busy this year!

Salsa, I've been away for a while, so I was unaware that you hadn't obtained a free replacement battery. I thought I had posted the details of my replacement in a message addressed to you.I haven't looked recently, but I think my 310 CCA was replaced free by the dealer with a 560 CCA AC Delco during the middle of the winter. It made a big difference. You asked me for the dealer's name, etc. I thought I had posted it. It's Bray Motors in Sundridge, ON.
