WeatherTech and new Pedal
Just thought I comment about the my WeatherTech customed fit floor mat under the driver's side and the new gas pedal. With the foot heel rest block (under the carpet trimed down by the dealer as per #10038 recall, the WeatherTech mat is now a spongy fit under the pedal. Second, the new "shorten" pedal will press against the vertical back of the WeatherTech such that the pedal can not go even closer to the firewall then perhap it could. The pedal almost looks like it could get stuck on the mat, but there is a very strong return force of the pedal's spring to return to the rest position.Also, in my opinion, I only notice a very small improvement in how the pedal feels and responds to my input. I am trying to search about what CTS did internally to the replacement pedal to fix the friction problem as well as the "new" feel of pedal. Does anyone have anything concerning the pedal's improvements??I do have information about changing the type of plastics used for the rubbing surfaces.
