Rims...and mudflaps??

Post by CaCathy13 »

Would it be bad to have both? I ordered mud flaps and I'm on the verge of ordering 18" rims...but my boyfriend things both would look stupid...but I want to reduce as much wear and tear on the Vibe as I can-hence, the mudflaps. The rims would be chrome...Anyone else have an opinion?

He probably says that to keep you from getting the rims you want. He's jealous of you! Just kidding. Honestly, I don't think the size of the wheels would make it look any better or any worse...and it's not like it's necessarily a fashion statement...the flaps serve an important purpose...

I have them with my aftermarket 17"ers. The wider tire on the rear makes the mudflap look a little small, but it still prevents most of the crud from splashing up onto the body. They may not look the best, but they are fairly decent and really do save the body from premature wear.I would definitely recommend them.

17" and mudflaps hear - check out my pics and decide for yourself I guess. You might want to look into getting the mudfaps painted to match your body color, Cathy, that would surely help them blend in a bit!
