Got the K&N Intake on!

installed the K&N typhoon on like 2 weeks ago... finally posting a pic lol. Pulls noticably harder... and sounds mean!

Make sure you don't pull too hard, the bungee-cord battery may go flying backwards.

Do you have a scan gauge ? Or a way to read the intake air temp? I have a feeling this kind of KN filter mod will actually lower HP in warm summer days. Cold air is more dense, stock air box if modified, can pull air from behind the bumper area away from all the engine heat. I have played around using my scan gauge and intake temp changes drastically. I think these intakes would be more beneficial if the pipes were longer and filter element was not in the engine compartment. Atleast you can enjoy the sound

that battery cord is temporary haha... but me and my friends put that intake on in the middle of 85 degree hot weather and we could tell a drastic difference in the power... much more power that is lol
