I actually have been trying to get my assemblies back IN. I tried to remove them for the CAI install, but never got them out -- but now they jut out from the body. Can someone with a service manual scan the few pages on removing/reinstalling a headlamp assembly?
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

quote: Can someone with a service manual scan the few pages on removing/reinstalling a headlamp assembly? It won't help. The installation steps are basically- install the bulbs- connect the connectors- "Install the composite headlamp into its correct position"- screw in the three bolts. - install the "front fascia"- aim the headlightsSounds like you're having trouble with the "Install the composite headlamp into its correct position" step, and the book doesn't say anything else about how to do that.

It does have pix, but they wouldn't be much help. I'd send them to you but my camera is in Utah on a much better vacation than I will get this year.
