Finally Got The Correct CAI From Injen

Post by retiredfields »

After having received the wrong CAI in the correct box, I finally got the correct CAI from Injen three weeks later. Installed it on my GT in an hour or so. I did notice if you use the mounting hole, for the vibra-mount, that Injen suggests, the CAI tube is pushed up against the headlight. I drilled a new hole about 3 inches further towards the firewall, cut out a little sheet metal around the hole to the air cleaner, and it now fits without touching anything in the engine compartment.I immediately noticed a smoother, more peppy engine response. Five weeks after ordering, I can now recommend the Injen CAI.
