Tinted Tails on a Salsa Vibe?

Post by Sh3pherd »

Has anyone tinted the tails on their salsa Vibe, or have pictures of ones with tinted tails? I'm curious to see what that would look like. How hard is that VHT Nightshade stuff to work with? Is it as simple as removing the tail lights, cleaning them off with some alcohol, then doing a few coats until it looks as dark as I want it?

I personally think VHT Nightshades on Salsa would look great. If anything, it would diminish the clash of the red plastic on your brake light against the paint color. And it is very easy to use, but addictive. And with this stuff, addictive = too dark.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=36751Check out my short writeup and photos in my garage. Scroll 2/3 the way down.Post pics if you go forward with it! Have fun, and you'll appreciate not going too dark. Beware the third coat!

Yep, my coats were quite light. A little goes a long way with the Nightshades. You won't think so at first, but the moment you start that second coat, you'll understand.
