Vibe Among Top 10 Least Likely to be Ticketed!

In a web article this week created by Vehix, the Vibe is #10 in their list of Top Ten Vehicles Least Likely to get Tickets. See: http://comcast.vehix.com/artic...-carsData comes from Quality Planning, "a company that validates policyholder information for auto insurers". They studied data last year and looked at vehicle models and traffic code violations. The Vehix article doesn't otherwise give a lot of specifics, or even necessarily rank #10 to #1...Their #10 Vibe is a GT in Red Hot Metallic, so it looks a lot like mine except mine is AWD and doesn't have the cool rear spoiler. All y'all who have done cool customizations on your Vibes may not be able to claim quite the same level of stealthyness. But apparently stock Vibes (or their owners driving habits) don't attract the attention of law enforcement too much.Cheers, Dave

No tickets yet (not that I've ever driven above a posted speed limit...)So far I've seen zero 2ndgen Red Vibes in Red Deer... maybe 3 in total of all the other years/colours... and mostly Vibes are driven by slower folk...

A vibe that passes me on the interstate every day was pulled over entering a work zone this morning. It had a "Show Dogs On Board" sticker on the back. I am pretty sure they got a ticket.

I'm doing my part: I've never had a speeding ticket in my life.And, I tend to drive my Vibe pretty easy, given the price of gasoline...It is just POSSIBLE, that many, MANY years ago, I hit a little over 125 MPH in a Toyota Celica....but I was young and foolish, back then (over 20 years, now).I doubt I've gone much above 70 MPH in my Vibe....I take it easy, in the right hand lane. It sux getting old With the price of gas at $3.90/gallon here, I stick pretty close to 55, now, even where the speed limit is 70.LOTS of big 4 wheel drive, 8 cylinder trucks and SUV's are doing close to 80 MPH, in the left lane....must be nice to be wealthy.

i got a ticket within a month of getting the vibe!i remember exiting on lake street off of the edens, and thinking to myself 'i like driving this car.' and then the cherries lit up in my mirror. sheesh...

My first speeding ticket ever was had in my Vibe. I got busted by those stupid speed cameras on an interstate going through Cedar Rapids. I can't say that I didn't deserve it but it's still very upsetting.I remember hearing about some psychological principle that in order for the punishment to be effective, it must be administered at the time of the infraction. Instead of getting pulled over and talking to an officer, I get a ticket in the mail two weeks after the incident. I didn't learn my lesson from the ticket, I did, however, learn it from the gas pump.Oh well, that's an entirely different discussion.

got ticketted in every other car I owned up until this one. Never a ticket in my Vibe.Wonder if thats related to the car, OR that i tend to be a bit slower more cautious driver in the vibe, since I love and cherish it loI know i have gone through speed traps a lil over speed limits, (5-10km/h) and never been pulled over
