2005 New Color

Post by billabong_star »

What do you want the new 2005 color should be? I think they need to bring this yellow color out! Or maybe a Taupe or Light/Electric Blue would be cool.

DUDE it isn't even 2004 yet, but if it were up to me perhaps a nice shade of pearl white or some realy metalic black or red, I'm talking house of color paint. Paint that will shine and sparkle. But that's just me.

It's a couple stage process and during one they put down some type of diamond powder. I know it took about 4 days to redo the passenger mirror. I like some of the colors they are offering on the new GTO. Maybe we will see the impulse blue or barbaros blue metallic.

I would like to see a metallic blue. I think I saw a Mazda 8 in a very nice blue. I wish the Neptune was lighter, I just don't like dark colors much.

I dunno man. I saw a yellow Matrix. It looks a lot WORSE in person than in pictures -- contrary to Fusion Orange, which looks a lot BETTER in person than in pictures. But that's, of course, MHO.

quote:Metallic Green..Have to have a green. Most definitely.I almost got a "polo green" sunfire. It was beautiful. But I went for indigo instead. Kinda wish I went for the green, cause it's less common. But then again, the car is trashed now, so kinda a null issue.Yesh, a green vibe, I can see it already, that would look BEAUTIFUL!They should have a limited run of more exotic colors too, like purple, pink. brown, aqua, sand, various pastels, etc. Something where you can get a way crazy color, and be really the only one of that color on the road. Do it as like a summer promotion or something.

How about a metalic silver colour ? Satellite is nice but it's not as metalic as silvers from other cars, it's more of a gray colour IMO.I thinking something like Titanium Metalic on Matrix.

Depends. 5 sp vs. 6 spd.I think someone said that a S/C base might give the GT a challenge, but once the GT hits lift, it'll be gone...

I watched some tuner car show this weekend, and one car had been painted with 6-color multi-chromatic color changing paint. VERY nice. The car, even on TV, changed color depending on the direction you were looking at it from.Of course it was near $3000 for the paint, BEFORE applying it to the car. Probably not something we'll see on a My Wife's Nissan Altima is a little like that. I've seen it green, blue, purple, and various shades in between. How it looks depends on the color of the sun (season/cloudiness/time of day). And I love it!KSNeptune

A non-metallic gray would be nice. Similiar to the TT's and 350Z's.

No, not that one. I've seen very few with this color. It's almost got a blue cast to it. Can't think of another car in a similiar color.

the problem with some of the chromatic paints is that while shifting colors are great (like that new speical paint job on the mustang) it is terribly expensive to fix...pearls are great, but also hard to touch up or blend....a nice metallic would be good....Ford has some real interesting colors that they have created...like that fuscia red that they put on the pickups for a couple of years ago and some of their blues are great!! i'd like to see a yellow or a bright blue.

I like the BMW Dakar yellow or Subaru's Rally Blue on the WRX's. A nice bright color would be nice.

I thought the current one IS non-metalic gray.ie. Satellite.I'd like to see a metalic silver like ones from Mazda (Protege/5 ) , Toyota Matrix, etc...Example: http://www.nissan.ca/en/vehicles/350Z/i ... _med05.jpg

Gotta have the yellow-gold color. Not that ugly yellow that the matrix has. The vibe is a bright color car.

All 3 would be funny looking, but would attract attention anyway.

Remember, the new Fusion Orange applied to all (or almost?) the new Pontiac line. So yellow would be out of the question, Sunfire has yellow already. Taupe is taken, and Forest Green. A color that could go on all the 05 line could be a light baby, or robin egg blue?
