Subwoofer upgrade

Post by Sub-Vibe-R »

This week-end, I installed a subwoofer in my sister's car.A 10" JBL in a sealed enclosure. It sounded not so bad with her amp, a kind of B.S. no name of 110W 2 channels but I wanted to hear how the JBL sounds. So I took her sub and put it in my Vibe. Much better with 360W!!Then, I made a little test. Put both, my JL and the JBL together on my amp.The sound was totally amazing!!!It sounds tight, clear and so loud. I'm thinking adding another 12" (may be both 12" in a band pass enclosure, who knows) but my only consern is the space.I like the sound with one 12", but with 2, it is so nice. What sould I do, invest another $2-300 to get a second 12", cut the half of my trunk or keep my sounds system like this???Hard choice

i have a single 12" jl w3 i think it has more then enough thump i dont see why you would need 2 12's try doing some adjustments through your amp and headunit i 12 hits more then hard enough buy you might like it crazy loud
