Move DRL to foglights?

I'm running an 07 Vibe with factory fog lights.Honestly, I almost NEVER use them.I do have my DRL's and I like having them and do want to disable them.I like the automatic lights on feature, want to keep that.I go through head lamp bulbs fairly rapidly for the low beams are always on and I drive a lot, not so much at night though.What I'd like to do is make the fog lights my DRL's. One bulb, easy to replace and not near as expense as a good bright headlamp bulb.So, anyone done this? How did it work? Any regrets? Any problems?and the big question....How did you do it?ThanksDave

sorry for the long delay, check my sig. shows how to delete DRL and keep auto lights, or move drl to fogs and keep auto lights.
