Hello from MN!

Post by pontiaced25 »

Hello everyone! I'm not a Vibe owner, but a Pontiac enthusiast and I'm doing some research looking for a good car for my older sister, and I found your forum, mainly looking for any "common" issues that I should be aware of. For instance, on the 3800 in my Bonneville the intake gaskets are prone to failure. Looking for any major issues like that that I would need to address for her before they fail (I'm fairly mechanically inclined). Thanks!

Welcome, fellow enthusiast! Sweet Bonny! We've had two over the years, an '89 and '95. We have two 2006 Vibes, and have had no issues. *knocks wood*

Hi!If its 2nd generation Vibe.. Watch out for the "jammed accelerator" issue and see it its been fixed..A GT would be he way to go as far as looks, but I'm biased..
